Just to let everyone know… the shop will be CLOSED TOMORROW – FRIDAY 26th JUNE ❌

Due to the intense heat 🥵 plus mum duties having to take priority — after a tough week, my little lady really isn’t coping well with these high temperatures, so family comes first right now.

A little look back at one of last weekends wedding flowers 💒

Because of the high temperatures forecast, I’m in extra early 🚪 — preparing, arranging and getting all orders ready & out while it’s still cool, so every stem stays fresh & perfect 💐

Around 1:00 pm, I’ll reaccess — may close early if needed, to avoid travelling home in the hottest part of the day 🚗💨

🌞 Important Update for Our Lovely Customers 🌞

With warm weather forecast over the next few days, our fresh flower stock will be kept lower than usual — and here’s why: flowers are incredibly sensitive to heat. High temperatures speed up their natural ageing process, cause blooms to open too quickly, and make stems wilt or dry out much faster.

Please note: due to the warmth, our usual flower stand out front will look empty — I’m keeping all blooms safely stored out the back where it’s much cooler, so they stay in perfect condition! Even with careful storage, it’s hard to keep flowers looking their best in this kind of weather, so keeping stock lower and away from the heat means I can ensure every stem we sell stays fresh, vibrant, and long-lasting for you.

If you need any flowers — whether it’s a bouquet, arrangement, or something special for an occasion — please pre-order as soon as possible. This way, I can source exactly what you need, reserve it specially for you, and bring it out fresh just when you arrive, while still keeping overall levels low to protect quality and avoid waste.

Loneliness Awareness Week, and yesterday I created and placed a number of “lonely bouquets” around our local community. 💐💛

Each bouquet was left waiting to be found by someone who might need a little lift, a smile, or simply a reminder that they are thought about.

As florists, we often see how flowers can connect people, spark conversations, and brighten difficult days. While a bouquet can’t take away loneliness, it can be a small act of kindness that reminds someone they matter.

Thank you to everyone who stopped, smiled, shared, or picked up a bouquet yesterday. I hope they brought a little joy wherever they ended up.
