🌟 A Note from Our Family to Yours 🌟
As a family-run business, we’re grateful to provide fireworks that bring people together to celebrate special occasions. We take pride in creating moments of joy that families share with food, friends, and, yes, fireworks. And as a licensed and regulated business, we’re committed to ensuring that our products are sold safely and responsibly.
Unfortunately, we’ve been receiving some negative comments and even personal attacks online and via phone calls to our shop, particularly about the effects of fireworks on pets. As dog lovers ourselves, we deeply understand the love people have for their pets and the worry fireworks can sometimes cause. In fact, our own English Bull Terrier, Frank, spends time in our shop during the season, carefully trained and desensitized to noise, greeting customers with a friendly wag. Many of our visitors enjoy fussing over Frank as part of their shopping experience.
We understand there are news stories that can raise concerns, and we respect anyone’s choice to voice their opinion. However, we also believe it’s important to treat one another with respect and empathy. We take these concerns seriously, and we encourage anyone with questions to reach out to us directly. Our team is always happy to discuss ways to enjoy fireworks responsibly, including advice on pet training and desensitization to make the experience easier on all family members, furry and otherwise. We have a page on our website with fireworks noises and the steps you can take to help your pets with them.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our family business. We’re proud of what we do and of the joy our customers find in these celebrations. If we can help make the experience better for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
💙 With gratitude,
Norman & The Ghengis Fireworks Team
