Come down to the cafe for Free RPG Day

We have a day of RPG gaming to get involved with as well as the usual gaming chaos

Plus, make a donation to Pancreatic Cancer UK and you can pick something from our RPG treasure trove!

All of our gaming charges will be going to charity too!

FREE RPG DAY IS FINALLY BACK!

This year we are gonna raise some money for charity!

As well as being Free RPG Day, August 22nd is also my mum's birthday. My mum sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer shortly before we opened Donuts & Dragons. I'm sure that, as well as thinking me slightly mad, she would have been very proud of what we've created here at the cafe.

So this year, to celebrate my mum, we have decided to support Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Everyone who donates some money will be able to take something from our RPG treasure trove.

We'll also have gaming tables throughout the day playing a range of RPG games and systems including:

D&D
Pathfinder
Daggerheart
Vaessen
Shiver

It will be £5pp to join a table with the table charges going to charity

If you're into boardgames rather than role-playing then come down and play a game. All table charges will be donated to Pancreatic Cancer UK too

I'm sure that everyone would agree that donating towards such a good cause is worth it, and you get to play some games or pick up some new things to try.

Come and join us this Saturday 10am to 10pm. We'll be revealing our tabletop timetable shortly. If there is anything in particular you want to take part in, DM us to book your spot

🌟 THE HOBBIT PRERELEASE 🌟

What an infuriating 24 hours it has been!

After being told yesterday that we would be unable host any prerelease events, today I received the invoice for our allocation of kits!

PRERELEASE IS BACK!

IMPORTANT INFO:

If you were already booked onto our event weekend, your place is still secure. If you have made arrangements to play elsewhere and no longer want your space please let us know as soon as possible

We still have places left so if anyone else wants to join please DM us, give us a call or pop into store.

We will not have any The Hobbit stock other than our prerelease kits and prize support

🌟 MTG: THE HOBBIT PRERELEASE CANCELLED🌟

Unfortunately, due to mistakes on both ends of our distribution system, we are not receiving any stock of MTG: The Hobbit. Because of this, we can no longer run our Prerelease weekend

We are absolutely devastated and know that we are letting so many of you down. This is not how we want to run our business.

Anyone who has paid in advance for their ticket or a product will have a refund when you next come to the cafe or can use it for the next prerelease, Reality Fracture (which has been ordered)

We are incredibly sorry to all of you and will ensure this does not happen again.

🌟 FILM SCREENING 🌟

Last Christmas we were delighted to be the film set for a small film production.

We're so excited that the film is finally ready that we're doing a little movie premiere!

Come down to the cafe on Saturday at 5pm to see all the hard work come to life!

A reminder for MTG players. The Marvel draft will be at 2pm today (I may have forgotten to put the time on the original post). There will be prizes to be won.
For those not wanting to take part, commander night will still be on as usual.

Mtg players! We'll be holding a Marvel draft on Sunday. £40 entry, 6 boosters and 3 rounds. Prizes to be won, including the grand prize of a full art ocelot pride. Message us if you're interested. Depending on interest, we might do another one next Sunday.

🌟 NEW WEBSITE 🌟

It's been a busy couple of weeks behind the scenes at Donuts & Dragons!

After having some frustrating IT issues, Nikki has been working her little butt off redesigning the cafe's website. And it's finally online!

It's not quite got everything yet, but you're be able to
- book tables
- browse our menu
- see our offers and events
- get in touch if you need anything.

Also, our emails are back up and running too!!
