We love it when we get one off items and yesterday we were donated a Beginners’ Jewellers Kit.

It’s a great little starter set for anyone wanting to try jewellery making.

Used but in good condition, includes;

- pliers x 2
- compass
- ring holder

A brilliant customer came in today with one of the best upcycling ideas we’ve seen in a long time — turning old duvets into a pair of dungarees! ♻️✨

What might have ended up forgotten in a cupboard is now being transformed into something completely unique, practical, and full of character. We absolutely love seeing creativity like this come through the door.

Recycling and reusing fabrics isn’t just good for the planet — it’s a fantastic way to create one-of-a-kind clothing with a story behind it. From cosy textures to bold patterns, old textiles can have a whole new life with a bit of imagination.

I did ask to see the finished results from an amazing peacock and fern duvet set so looking forward to it!

June is a great month to get married, if you are looking for a wedding dress or bridesmaid dress please ask as we have them in the store room as they take up so much space.

Ewa who runs our sewing group is also an expert in alterations if you need any help 🪡
