With my treatment starting tomorrow, the shop will remain closed until at least June 22nd. This will give me time to assess how I react to the chemotherapy, and once I know further opening times, I will post them here.

The shop will be open on:
Wednesday 3rd June, 10.30 to 12.30
Friday 5th June, 11.00 to 13.00

I start my treatment the following week, so until I find out how it affects me, the shop will then remain closed until at least Tuesday 23rd June.

Wednesday 27th May: 11.00 to 13.00
Saturday 30th May 11.00 to 14.00

Times for the following week will be different, due to medical appointments, and will be posted on Facebook when those opening times are known.

From Mike Parsons, to my friends, through C&M Models

Some of you will know that since the end of 2025, I have not enjoyed the best of health, sometimes having to close the shop for the occasional day, due to illness.

This came to a spectacular climax on Easter Saturday when I collapsed at home and was admitted immediately to the Cumberland Infirmary, which then saw me on the operating table for several hours.

2 weeks later, I have finally been allowed home, although I have yet to be fully put back together, and there will be further treatments and hospital stays required in the weeks and months ahead.

Therefore, C&M Models will remain temporarily closed for the time being, and I cannot give a timescale as to how long this will be. Updates on the shop will be posted on our website, https://candmmodels.co.uk

For those of you have reached out, I thank you for your concerns and kind words. It is giving me a huge boost.

I look forward to seeing you back in the shop so we can resume the laughter and friendship we have enjoyed down the years

Some of you will be aware that the shop has been closed this week "due to illness".
We will remain closed on Thursday and Friday, but i hope to open on Saturday.

I have spent today at the Cumberland Infirmary, and will require an operation that will mean the shop will have to close for a further 2 weeks. Once I have further details on the timing, we will post it here.
