If you’re wondering why I’ve been a little quiet on here lately it’s because we have a new business. All of and products will now be found at along with lots of brand new designs. I’d love for you to follow our journey if you aren’t already so feel free to pop over and say hi.

So today marks the first tentative steps of a new venture for us, some might say adventure. ☺️

We’re launching Supplies For Life, a brand new business focussing on the handmade side of our creative lives. It’s the collaboration of all the things we take pride in and make with our own hands. We’re bringing together Jamie’s woodwork and my textiles, which allows for creative freedom and the ability to explore new areas, whilst still remaining a team.

We’ll still be keeping Bread & Jam going in a more limited capacity (probably for ever) but we’ll be closing Two8ths (Catherine’s baby) and Labour & Lustre (Jamie’s baby) and joining forces with Supplies For Life.

Supplies For Life will be our creative outlet and will be an extension of the lives we lead already. It will focus in areas such as baking, growing, preserving, along with more decorative pieces such as our apples, baubles and strawberries, which are also launching today.

It feels like progress, we are totally invested in this new venture already, our heads as well as our hearts. We’ve got new socials (Facebook & Instagram) so it would be great if you could give us a like here and there and a follow if this is your thing. We’re trying to build a community of like minded souls, which will be collaborative, generous and a fun place to hang out. Think sunshiny, happy vibes, sharing ideas and swapping stories.

Wish us luck, in this current climate we’re going to need it! Super exciting though 😆

It’s been all about the shimmer the last few days. Lucky to get a little sunshine yesterday to shoot my new garlands, plus I also managed to find matching nail polish in my daughters drawer.

I’ve not quilted before, so naturally Jamie bought me this quilting pattern for Christmas that is likely to take me a year just to cut. Lovely though isn’t it 😀

As many of you will know our studio roof came off in the storm a few weeks back. We now have a shiny new roof but our funds took a bit if a battering (see what I did there, a reference to the storm 😂😂 yeh yeh I know)
