I am excited and also shocked that I Wendy gardiner have been nominated for a bbc making a difference award
I have volunteered at the bookshop since I was 18 (over 20 years ago, I feel old) and I am proud to be nominated for this award but it's not just for me, it's for all volunteers past and present who help support the shop, raise money for amazing causes and offer a great service to our customers.

Congratulations to all other charities and their volunteers who were also nominated
