Unfortunately BBQs are banned until further notice due to the extremely dry land surrounding the lake and nearby farm land.
Please take care when using stoves, do not use in the long grass and ideally keep off the floor!
No cigarette 🚬 butts to be thrown on the ground, please use water to extinguish to reduce a fire 🔥 risk!

Finally the lakes are starting to pick up again after the recent warm spell and New angler to Lyons Drove fishery, Jack has has fished a couple of sessions on the big Rez in recent weeks with friends and has been successful on both trips he’s had with the latest session last weekend producing several fish to just over 30lb!

This year with the dry weather, the farmer had allow access to the small Rez via the route marked in Red, but due to a pipe leaking and the ground now being very wet, there is a good chance you would get stuck so until further notice the farmer has asked us to stop vehicles from using the route marked in Red.
When driving round to the opposite side of the fishery please be aware of irrigation pipes laid in the long grass.

Lake exclusive booking**

The Small Rez will be closed this weekend from 2pm tomorrow afternoon (Friday 10th) until (Sunday 12th) at 4pm for the Pegslam Parent/Junior event.
It will be good to see the young anglers out fishing this weekend!
The closure includes fishing into the big Rez from the causeway bank.

The BIG REZ apart from the causeway will be fully open for fishing during this time!
We have 30 main swims on the big Rez and so far it looks to be a quiet weekend!

The small Rez is closed from 9am tomorrow morning until midday Sunday for our Bailiff, Lees 4 seasons event that was open to all!

The Big Rez is OPEN for fishing as usual during this time and so far doesn’t have many bookings!

Chris Morton was back again at Lyons Drove last Sunday afternoon for a few hours on the Big Rez and in a short session was rewarded with 3 quick bites with the better of the fish around the mid 20 mark! Well done Chris đź’Ş

This coming weekend, the Small Rez at Lyons Drove will be closed for a lake exclusive booking from 8am Friday morning (26th) until 6pm Sunday (28th).

The Big Rez WILL BE OPEN as usual for fishing during this time 🎣

The “3 Amigos” from Peterborough and the surrounding area visited the small Rez at Lyons Drove last week for a bit of a catch up and managed to catch a few carp each, Lee managed the best fish of the trip that went 29lb!
There is a lake exclusive booking on the Big Rez from 8am tomorrow morning that will end mid afternoon on Sunday.
