It’s B team day here on the Cringoed Sawdust Stall at Sioe Mon! Mrs Sawdust is spending the day in the sawdust shop making lots of Welsh Dragons so it’s up to Mr Sawdust to man the stall. What could possibly go wrong? 😬

Three little pigs from Glynllifon way,
Were getting all ready for the big show day.
They polished their trotters and brushed up their snouts,
And packed up their bags without any doubts!

It’s Anglesey show, it’s sure to be grand,
With lots of attractions and foody things planned.
There’ll be tractors and animals, ribbons and fun,
And plenty of sunshine… well, hopefully some!”

The first little pig said, “there’ll be beautiful crafts”
The second said, “we’ll have plenty of laughs”
The third piggy shouted, “Come on, let’s go!
There’s plenty of food at the Anglesey Show!”

They arrived at the Show with a squeal of delight,
Ready for fun from morning till night.
So much to do, so little time
To not see it all would be such a crime

So if you’re at the Show, come visit our stand
With beautiful woodwork, the best in the land
Always a warm welcome from us you know
And everyone loves the Anglesey Show!!

As many people are aware is home to an 1854 De Winton horizontal stationary steam engine and Cornish boiler, which were restored by Fred Dibnah, (around 1991), the engine will be fired up (by volunteers) throughout August the dates are Sunday 9th, Sunday 23rd and Sunday 30th.
It really is worth a visit so see this amazing engine come to life.
Why not make a day of it and take a walk around the Parc while you're visiting.

Limited edition Walnut and Beech handled Walking Sticks hand made by us and now available from our Sawdust shop in Parc Glynllifon! We have one of each of nose in and nose out crooks on Hazel shanks, a Derby on a Hazel shank and a Thumb stick on a field maple shank. We haven’t got any more Walnut so once these are gone we don’t know when we’ll be making any more! Thanks for looking!
