If you’re a frequent visitor to Atticusboo, you may have noticed that I have a thing for Italian crooners and last week on my trip to Puglia, I got to see this joyous tribute to Domenico Montugno, the original crooner of Volare (Nel blu dipinto del blu). This statue pretty much sums up how I feel when I arrive in Italy - I may be glum for a day of two or I may just pour an Aperol Spritz, crank up my Italian playlist and pretend I’m still there.

Oh and whilst I was away the good team Boo took delivery of all sorts of lovely new stock - do call in and check it out. I’ll be the one behind the till wistfully dreaming of spaghetti assasina and pistacchio ice cream but I’ll try and pull myself together…

Who doesn’t need a star student desk peanut to keep them company whilst they burn the midnight oil, cramming their noggin with facts? Chocolate also helps obviously.
