Sweet little Things

Sweet little Things Handcrafted in my home with lots of love, keeping the magic alive Hi and welcome to Sweet little Things.

My name's Allison and I'm a lucky mum to five gorgeous children. I started Sweet little Things one rainy afternoon while everyone else was watching football, one little tooth fairy pillow started it all off. I predominantly make fairy doors and all things fairy related, but also special signs and bunting, I just love handcrafting special gifts for people. I've been very blessed since starting this

little business to have met many wonderful people, many of who return to the page, and I just love chatting to my customers and making sure that when they receive their goods from Sweet little Things they are perfect for them in every way xx

Evening all, hope you're well. Cooled down beautifully here today in Suffolk, a drastic difference from yesterday but very much appreciated, now just need some rain.

Being cooler I've been able to get outside and really sort out the campervan, ready for a few small adventures for the rest of the year.

Many of you will already know but I lost my amazing husband 19 months ago. I'll be honest this journey is the hardest and most painful thing I've ever done. Some days are hard, some are better, but we are blessed with a beautiful family and they are what motivates me now. Life is precious and for living so we are making beautiful memories together.

I am also trying to push myself out of my comfort zone, solo adventures (well me, the dogs and a campervan called Dotty) so I've made a personal Instagram account so I can look back and see how far I've come. Please join me if you'd like to, be lovely to see you there, lots of love, Allison xx

Afternoon all 😊 OK hate to complain about the weather but hands up who's ready for Autumn? I certainly am this heat is exhausting, I've got so much to do but the motivation has gone, how are you all coping. 33° here today and 19° last night!!!

It's a full time job keeping the plants in the garden and allotment from the brink of extinction and all the birds and wildlife, watered and feed with a hosepipe ban in place. Also my heart goes out to all those terribly affected by all the fires, truly devastating seeing all the pictures, put's my complaints into perspective really πŸ₯²

I do need to take some product photos so I'm hoping they are right and it's a lot cooler tomorrow. Stay cool everyone and take care, Allison xx

P.S I will be commencing a rain dance in the garden at 9pm, fingers crossed xx

Please everyone the wildlife, insects and birds are suffering in this drought. Please leave dishes of water outside, front and back and keep them topped up with fresh water. Last night I had 3 hedgehogs drinking for a long time from the dishes I put out and also saw a tiny muntjac probably looking for water. A bigger bowl has gone out today, I hope he comes back tonight. It's such a small thing but imagine their relief when in this heat they find fresh water, thank you πŸ₯°

Morning all 😊 We had a visit to the RHS Sandringham Flower show on Friday. What a super day, took the train from Bury to Kings Lynn and then there's a free air conditioned shuttle bus to take you to the show, very well organised and a relaxed fun way to travel. Will definitely take that travel option again as we spent a lot of the journey there and back chatting to other Sandringham visitors, and I do love a chat 😊 The show itself was wonderful, not too crowded so you could get a good look at all the amazing show gardens, and lots to look at. Of course so many plants to buy and would have been rude not to wouldn't it, so I did 🀣πŸ₯° The best thing of course, is that I got to spend time with my amazing children, making more wonderful memories and that was absolutely the best part πŸ₯° Love to you all and hope you all have a super day, Allison πŸ₯°πŸ„πŸŒΈπŸŒΏ
