The weather is set to get a bit warmer over the next few days so maybe not a lot of knitting or crochet? But it’s meant to cool down a bit for the weekend when hopefully we’ll get a mooring in Burscough…
Opening plans for this week for the floating Lancashire Wool shop.
The Wool Boats plans for 22nd to 28th June 2026

The plan is to be open near The Slipway on Thursday afternoon, the 25th June while it is the Knit and Natter in the pub when everyone is all welcome to join the Slipway Stitchers in the pub, welcoming any stitchers, in which ever craft, to join them from 1 until about 4. For further info call Carole on 07919 598911.
You may find Capt Col in the pub as it gets nearer 4 o clock!
Then after not being able to moor in Burscough last Sunday we will try again weekend and we are planning to be back at Burscough Wharf on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th of June to be open from 11 to 3.
James C Bretts are discontinuing the “Fairground” range of self-patterning yarns, we have a reasonable stock but it won’t last forever so if you have it on your yarny wish list now is the time to buy.
It is also available from our web shop if you can’t visit us in person.
Any shares would be appreciated, thank you.
