After last nights announcement, we'd like to reassure Event Distribution LTD & 24/7 Electrical Wholesale customers that it is business as usual and items will be dispatched as in accordance with our current handling times.

We a solely online business, warehouse based, with no face to face contact with our customers. All items are delivered via courier with contactless delivery.

The decision to remain open has been made by management in the best interest of our staff team and customers. If the situation develops further we will update accordingly.

We will be offering a local van delivery service for local trades and general public of our vast range of goods.

Due to continued expansion Event Distribution LTD are recruiting an additional member of the team. Event Distribution LTD is one of the leading online stores of electrical supplies and accessories, cables, extension leads and electrical equipment for the event industry. We trade primarily online through our websites and eBay and Amazon marketplaces.

The Role:
We are recruiting a warehouse operative/order packer to expand our team. The job will entail:
Cutting Cables for Customer Orders and Stock.
Preparing Orders to be given to the manufacturing team.
Picking Orders for Despatch.
Packing Orders for Despatch.
Loading Courier Vehicles at the end of Day.

From time to time it may be required that the candidate joins the manufacturing team to assemble and wire products. Basic electrical knowledge would be ideal however full training will be provided.

A successful candidate must be confident, hardworking and will be required to work well independently and as part of a team. Must be driven, have a good work ethic and be motivated in a fast paced environment. Must be physically fit to cut and lift sometimes heavy cables.

Although this is not a public facing job, the ideal candidate should be confident with the public for customer collections, courier drivers etc.

Coronavirus COVID-19 Update -
At Event Distribution LTD we'd like to reassure customers that we are trading and operating as normal unless otherwise instructed to. We are taking extra steps to prevent the possible spread of the virus.

All of the couriers we use have 'Contactless Delivery' methods in place. This will typically involve the courier placing your order on your doorstep, ringing the doorbell, taking a step back allowing you to collect your parcel and for the courier to sign on your behalf. For all local customers we are offering Free local delivery via one of our own vehicles.

The team would like to thank all of our customers in this difficult time and it is business as usual here at Event Distributon LTD. Orders are still being fufilled and delivered as normal.

In this fast moving situation we will update customers with any developments or changes.
