a belated 🤣🤣

Had a busy week but managed to find time to make a quilted jacket using the new Tilda Fabrics USA Something Blue quilting fabrics.

I also finished a little baby cardigan using the new King Cole Yarn & Pattern Supplier Little Lamb baby Dk

I also made some bunting. Something I used to make a lot of about 15 years ago when I did a lot of craft fairs. 🤪

A window seat cushion commission made for someone, the foam was cut and supplied by Bay Tree Upholsterers. The cover was made using one of our fabrics and continuous zip.

And I also embroidered a label for a baby blanket (not shown due to personal details)

We have had a revamp of our oilcloth displays for the summer and to display new products - there are lot to choose from. Now is the time to renew that tablecloth, whether outdoors or in the kitchen or dining room. All oilcloths are wipeable to remove food and drink spillages without the need for washing.
Many to choose from, including an educational world map.

We are open seven days a week in Burnham High Street..

Come and have a browse our ranges and depending on the weather take a bracing stroll along the beach to see Burnham’s two remaining lighthouses (there were three but the original lighthouse is no more but look for name clues on the Esplanade).

Today we topped up our Rico Design Make It Blumchen knit in thread. We have had this fit over a year, since it was released. If you’ve not seen it before, then come and have a look. It’s a fine thread with tiny sequins which you knit (or crochet) together with another yarn. Whether it’s mohair, Lace weight, 4 ply, Sport, DK, Aran or whatever….. it gives your garment a little sparkle 🥰. I have a mohair triangle scarf on display in the shop, so you can see for yourself the effect it has. We have all 20 shades available. (See pics)

We have yet more great value yarn packs and a new sale bin with last balls of discontinued and end of line yarns - all on display in High Street (weather permitting!) and inside the shop.

Good evening all

I haven’t completed any projects this week, but I have several work in progress projects around the house. I’ve been making this baby cardigan using King Cole Yarn & Pattern Supplier Little Lamb DK baby yarn and pattern. I’ve just got a sleeve and bands to do.

I also ran up these basket liners whilst in the shop today for the remnants and last ball yarn offers.

I’m hoping to get a sewing day in soon 🙈
