After a decade of brilliant service, we would like to announce that Tim Connolly will be departing William Evans.

A Piece of Modern British Gunmaking History 🇬🇧

The William Evans Connaught Premium is a fascinating chapter in the story of one of London’s historic gunmakers.

William Evans was founded in 1883 and became associated with the British sporting-gun tradition and the Duke of Connaught. The Connaught range was introduced in 2012 to celebrate that historic connection.

The Connaught Premium combines the elegance of a traditional side-by-side sidelock with modern production expertise. Made to William Evans’ specifications by Grulla Armas in Spain, it was designed to offer the character, craftsmanship and bespoke possibilities associated with the William Evans name.

With its fine scroll engraving, quality walnut and classic proportions, the Connaught Premium is a particularly interesting example of how the London gunmaking tradition has been carried into the modern era.
