Over the last 12 months, the three Trussell Trust foodbanks across Bristol have given out 30,543 foodbank parcels to people in crisis.

Together Bristol N W Foodbank South and East Bristol Foodbank & North Bristol & South Glos Foodbank are continuing to support the most vulnerable across our city & surrounding areas.

Hi everyone,

Please find attached our shopping list for March.

As expected, we are beginning to get busier with inflation and especially the large increase in energy costs being the most likely cause.

The overall figures for 2021 showed a reduction in the number of families we helped compared with 2020. That said, we still helped approximately 400 families consisting of over 1100 adults/children and gave out around 18 tonnes of food.

We can only carry on doing this with your continued support and generosity which has always been brilliant (especially during the pandemic) and is always greatly appreciated

Hi everyone,

All the volunteers at the FoodBank wish you and your families a Happy New Year.

Please find attached our first Shopping List of 2022.

We have been very busy over the Christmas period and, despite having to revert to a 'doorstep' collection way of operating due to the ongoing Covis pandemic, have provided food for 55 families, consisting of 101 adults and 98 children since the beginning of December.

In total, 2.05 tonnes of food was given out to families and this was possible only due to the generosity of the local community which has donated 2.43 tonnes of food over the same period.

Your continued support is, as always, greatly appreciated.

Hi All - You may have noticed a name change! We are still a North Bristol Foodbank Outlet, and this page will continue to have updates about Foodbank- But we are so much more! We want to reach out into our community and meet people's needs in multiple ways, so we look forward to using this page to connect with people in other ways, whether it is help with parenting questions or needs, homework clubs, social care needs or many others.

We would like to say a big thank you to Fouracre Crescent residents in Bromley Heath who have made a street collection and bought in 39.2kg of food. We are extremely grateful for their donation and it is heart-warming to see communities pull together to support one another.

If you and your neighbours would like to do something similar, get in touch! We'd love to hear from you and can provide you with our latest wish list.

Hi everyone,

Please find attached our Christmas Shopping List for 2021.

We have had a very good Harvest with approximately two tonnes of food donations from the local community for which we are extremely grateful. The FoodBank has continued to support those in need of food support in the local community and, as in previous years, we are beginning to see a rise in the number of clients seeking assistance as the run-up to Christmas starts.

Your continued support is, as always, greatly appreciated and all at the FoodBank wish you and your families a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Dear friends and supporters,

Our Autumn 2021 shopping list is attached.

On the 14th May, we opened our doors for the first time in over a year and we have remained open despite the recent increase in the Covid rate. Extra precautions have been taken to help protect the safety of volunteers and clients alike.

The number of referrals is slowly increasing again and we are expecting this to continue with the ending of furlough and other support programmes and the removal of the additional £20 a week Universal Credit which I am sure will hit some families very hard.
