They’re finally ready… Our New Grass-Fed Beef Sticks 🄩🌿

We really believe we’ve created the cleanest and best tastingĀ beefĀ snack out there:

• Made with 100% real food ingredients
• Made by expert charcutiers and you can taste it!
• Sustainably sourced from grass-fed & regeneratively farmed cattle
• Fermented with honey (instead of dextrose or other processed sugars)
• MadeĀ withoutĀ preservatives
• Naturally flavoured with seasoning & spices
• Made in partnership with British farmersĀ

EachĀ stickĀ contains 10 grams of protein, less than 0.5 grams of carbs and is only 81 calories.Ā

Why Meat Sticks?

As with all of our products, we developed these because they’re something we wanted to have on a daily basis and they didn’t exist in the UK. Sure, there’s plenty of other meat andĀ beefĀ snacks, but none-ticked all the boxes for us.Ā

They were either too chewy (so you ended up with an aching jaw or not being able to eat them all), contained preservatives / processed sugar / some other ingredient we didn’t want or weren’t sourced from a grass-fed and regenerative farm.Ā

It took us years of conversations before we found the right partner to work with to bring our vision to life. And even then, we spent a long time developing them so they could be made without preservatives, and cured with raw honey rather than the refined sugars you often find in most driedĀ beefĀ products.Ā

Just as nature intended.Ā

One of the things we’re most proud of with theseĀ sticksĀ is the flavour. In our experience, meat snacks often taste like they’ve been mass produced on a factory line… whereas with ourĀ BeefĀ Sticks, they’ve been made with the highest qualityĀ beefĀ and by charcutiers and this really comes through in the taste and texture.

Can’t wait to hear what you all think šŸ™

The latest ā€œfixā€ āž”ļø scientists are breeding cattle that burp less methane.

When will the industry realise?

They identify a ā€œproblemā€ (cow burps create methane) but they ignore the full picture… factory farming (vs regenerative systems, which are carbon negative).

And every time they go further against nature with these ā€œsolutions,ā€ it falls flat on its face.

What do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

The APE Family Farm Fund

One of the things we’ve wanted to do for a long time at APE is give back.

We’ve always been drawn to the idea of creating a direct and tangible impact; something we can see, share, and bring our community along with.

That’s why we’ve decided to support small UK farms directly.

These farms play a vital role in producing food, caring for the land, preserving traditional skills, and helping maintain a closer connection between people and nature. Yet many of them face enormous challenges simply to survive.

From today, 2% of profit from every order will be set aside to support small farms across the UK.

As this fund grows, we’ll be investing directly into projects that help these farms thrive. Whether that’s buying animals, improving infrastructure, planting trees, enhancing biodiversity, or helping bring a new idea to life, we’ll share exactly where the money goes and the impact it creates.

We’ll also tell the stories of the people behind these farms, shining a light on the incredible work they’re doing and helping our community connect more deeply with the land that sustains us.

This starts today. Every order placed from June 8th 2026 contributes to the fund, and we’re committed to increasing our contribution as APE grows.

If you run a small farm, or know somebody who does, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch and tell us a little about yourself, your farm, and the work you’re doing. We’re beginning to build a list of farms we’d like to support and would love for you to be part of it šŸ„šŸŒæ

Has living outside become a privilege?

Hours outside swapped for hours on screens.

It raises the question are we using technology or is it us who is now being used?

We were never designed to live in square boxes with white washed walls.

The human eye can see more shades of green than any other colour, this evolved from the wisdom gained by our ancestors.

Gazing at the horizon relaxes our minds, the exact opposite to the way we respond to closely viewing screens.

We have evolved with animals, omens, seasons and life.

Sea water and the amniotic fluid we are held in share a remarkable resemblance.

We are meant to evolve with nature. 🌿

Beef Liver is one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet.

Our ancestors prized it as a food to nourish, support & strengthen, and reserved it for those who needed it the most; like couples trying to conceive, women in postpartum and warriors going into battle.

But it doesn’t end there šŸ‘‡

We see beef liver as one of the most powerful foods to fill the nutrient gaps in the modern diet. A key source of:

- Vitamin B12
- Vitamin A
- Copper
- Heme-Iron (the most absorbable version)
- B2
- & over 73% more folate (Vitamin B9) than spinach gram-for-gram

A staple for energy, vitality, mood and clarity, with pre-formed retinol to support skin from the inside out too…

Beef liver has been part of the human diet for centuries. Your grand parents and great grand parents probably ate it often, and we think it’s a valuable food worth keeping around for generations to come.

Have you made beef liver part of your diet yet?

Big Food loves it when vegans and carnivores argue online…

Because it distracts people from the real issue at hand…

How broken our food system is.

Surely we can all agree on one thing…

Whether you eat plants, animals or both…

We should be trying to eat food that’s grown in a way that doesn’t poison the soil or treat animals cruelly.

The focus should be on reducing our dependence on big food and industrial agriculture and supporting regenerative farming.

This type of farming:
- Has the highest standards for animal welfare
- Sequesters more carbon into the soil than it gives off
- Promotes wildlife biodiversity
- Improves water holding capacity (preventing flooding)
- Supports smaller scale family run farms
- Works in harmony with the environment
- Improves soil health
- Doesn’t rely on artificial chemicals, antibiotics and hormones

It’s time to start putting our food system back into the hands of farmers who care about animals, the land and our health šŸ„©šŸŒŽšŸŒæ

With everything happening on the world stage right now, it feels like there’s no good news left to share… So here’s a breath of fresh air:

recently committed £1.6 billion to British farming in 2026.

That’s right!

To real British farmers - over 2,500 of them - across meat, dairy, eggs, fruit and veg.

Why does this give us hope?

It’s becoming undeniable that the systems are broken.

Modern powers are so set on homogenising humans, funnelling our experiences and perspectives to fall in step with their agenda.

As always we turn to nature. We turn to community, connection, the land.

We choose to listen to ourselves before an external body or an artificial intelligence.

To live as close as we can to the ways we have evolved.

To eat real food. Be outside. Slow things down. To rediscover human.

Bone broth is one of the foods humans have likely consumed for the longest time.

Our ancestors honoured & made use of the whole animal - including the bones 🦓

Rich in collagen and protein, its also a key source of trace minerals like šŸ‘‡

• Iron
• Phosphorous
• Sodium
• Potassium
• Copper
& a host of amino acids

Mixed into bolognese, soup or made into a simple tea, bone broth is an amazing way to support the gut lining, joints, skin, hair, nails and even the nervous system. 🄘 ā˜•

They say ā€˜good broth will resurrect the dead’ - we’re not sure about that, but we do know it’s our new favourite way to start the day. šŸŒ…

Here’s to more mornings that start with nourishment, nutrient-dense foods and investing in our wellbeing.
