The North Bristol Art Trail is on from 10 - 4pm today North Bristol Artists

It's the fabulous Bristol Art Trail this weekend, 10am to 5pm. I enjoyed the preview night yesterday at Venue 6 on Bishop Lane. Was especially lovely to catch up with Glos Rd Central legend Sarah Thorp.

There is an interesting gender divide between men and women when it comes to hypnosis. More women are likely to use it for hypnotherapy but more men are likely to volunteer for stage hypnosis.

In my own hypnotherapy practice I have seen the division change over time. When I used to do a lot more business networking and was regularly speaking to people face to face about the benefits of hypnotherapy there was around a 50/50 split between men and women. Now that most of my clients find me online it is more weighted towards women.

This seems to reflect the general findings that women are more likely to search for therapy options of any type. It could also of course be that men prefer to address their issues in different ways but I think there are still a lot of men who aren't aware of the benefits.

It would be great to spread the word a bit more so if anyone has a connection to a men's group within a 50 mile range of Bristol that would be interested in a talk about hypnosis please get in touch. Previous ones have been well received and I usually include a demo so that people can experience hypnosis in action.

(PS, the nice thing is that whilst I was writing this 2 men emailed to book sessions ❤)
