With over 30 years of experience, I still get so much satisfaction from transforming spaces like this Edwardian guest bedroom. What was once one of the family’s sons’ rooms has now been completely refreshed into a calm, elegant and welcoming guest space.
The walls were feeling tired and the whole room needed a new lease of life, so we started with a full redecoration and new flooring, completely lifting the space and giving it a softer, more refined feel. Huge thanks to the brilliant team at K Gell Decorations and IHFlooring for their craftsmanship.
A new bed was carefully sourced to suit the proportions of the room, and luxurious bedding from John Lewis & Partners added that final layer of comfort and understated luxury.
The window treatments needed urgent attention, but with such a stunning view overlooking the garden, it was all about enhancing rather than hiding it. Bespoke shutters were the perfect solution—framing the outlook beautifully while keeping the space practical and serene.
Now it’s a sophisticated guest retreat that still feels true to the character of this beautiful Edwardian home 🤍
