🍍WE BELIEVE IN LILT🍍

A few years ago, we took one of our favourite cask specials and put it in a can. What difference did it make? Come to the Tap Room & taste for yourself!

This weekend, the beer stars have aligned, and you can try BELIEVE IN LILT on cask and in a can at the same time.

We had a little lunchtime taste test in the Tap Room and here are some things we noticed:
🍍 ON CASK: deeper, sweeter pineapple; rounder stone fruit finish
🍍 IN CAN: sharper, pineapple bite; moreish, bitter grapefruit finish

Slather on the sun cream, and head out to UPFEST. There’s some seriously brilliant stuff going up all around Bemmie. On the westerly edge of North St, the amazing .grafic has been hard at work painting Tappers. Stop by to get the full picture. 😉

Cold, crisp pints of the official UPFEST beer pouring from midday. Takeaway pints very much available to keep you hydrated whilst you peruse the art! We’ve also got plenty of cold water and ice if you’d like traditional hydration.

We can also do you an iced coffee if that’s your beverage of choice. 😊

🎨 CLEAR HEAD, FRESH PAINT 🎨

In case you haven’t seen... just across the street from the Tap Room, Bristol-born Jimmer Willmott is bringing his Alphabetti Spaghetti series to the side of a certain supermarket.

All that painting looked like thirsty work, so we wandered over to share a tinnie and a chat.

‘I don’t drink,’ Jimmer told us. ‘Clear Head is as close as you get to the real thing. It’s crisp and goes down just as good as the real stuff... And I like it because I don’t get none of those stinky hangovers.’ Cheers to that, mate.

Pop over to the Tap Room. Grab yourself a cold can of Clear Head. Go see what Jimmer’s up to.

Bit of men’s football and rugby to see us through the week, and once we make it to the weekend it’s back to the Women’s Six Nations.

On Saturday, Bristol Bears take on Saracens at Ashton Gate. Stop by Tappers for a Black Gates, watch the Red Roses smash it on the screens, then head to the stadium for some in-person rugby. What a day!
