All the sellers on Reuse Home are charities and social enterprises that work towards the alleviation of poverty in their local communities and aim to tackle the climate crisis. They are also members of the Reuse Network. Reuse Home was created in 2021; thanks to initial funding from Catalyst and developed by Code-Operative; as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic where many reuse charities and soci

al enterprises found themselves without an online retail outlet. Reuse Network saw a gap in the market for an e-commerce site that could provide a platform for charity shops to market and sell their products without having to open to the public. By shopping with us, you are supporting charities in the UK and helping make reuse goods second nature, preventing perfectly good items from going to landfill, funding charities that help other people in need of affordable goods and of course, finding that special gem to furnish your house - all from the comfort of your own home. Our members make a difference. They help low-income households live better by giving them access to fairly priced goods. They tackle social exclusion by providing training and volunteering opportunities so that more people can get back to work and positively contributing to their communities. They combat climate change by reducing carbon emissions and cutting waste. We have around hundreds of members located across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. They vary from volunteer-run charities to larger social enterprises that actively work within their local communities.

An outstanding collection of poems by Séamus Fox, a former Emmaus UK Companion. Séamus found a home at Emmaus, where he met hundreds of people, just like him, but each with their own story to tell. This book is a collection of poems written from those stories, showing the reality of what it means to be homeless.
