Does anyone else keep leaving the house each day dressed for arctic conditions only to be sweating buckets within seconds??

Lots of northern friends and family are bracing themselves for snow and down south it feels like we’re still waiting for winter to truly hit 😂 Fully expected to have to de-ice the car but nope!

Currently nap trapped in the car listening to Christmas songs and making plans for getting a tree in the next few days. I’m starting to get in the Christmas spirit after wandering around a very festive garden centre, complete with signing reindeer 😂 I may have treated us to a couple of new baubles but need to dig all of the other decorations out of the loft too 🎄

We’re a family with a good smattering of November and early December birthdays, so it’s always tricky to think about Christmas too early! We’re actually spending this weekend celebrating my Dad’s seven whole decades on this planet 🤩 and next weekend, Abel’s first year round the sun!!

I had hoped to be on it this year with sharing Crimbo stuff but sadly time has just got away from me and returning to work and settling bubbs into nursery (and going down with aaaaallll of the bugs🤧😷) have taken priority!

I have a couple of little crafty kits that are ready to go though (and pretty much have been since last year 🤦🏻‍♀️)… I just need to squeeze in a bit of time to get them photographed and listed… and hoping my Christmas cards arrive next week 🤞

What a grim day, it’s pouring down outside and I’ve got a stinking cold... probably from bubba licking the floor at soft play earlier in the week 🤧

The positive of this means that I’m not attempting to leave the house today and will be sitting down at my laptop to update my Etsy shop with these prints 😁 All 6 colours and 3 sizes will be available again from 6pm!

🎉🥳 Huge congratulations to everyone who received A Level results today and fingers crossed for others of you who will be getting your GCSE results on Thursday... you lot have not only survived education through a pandemic, you have achieved great things and your futures are looking bright 🙌 You totally deserve to live in this moment and celebrate how amazing you are!

Even if your results didn’t live up to your expectations, life has been really bloody tough over the past year and yet you still keep on keeping on and that is something to feel very proud of too!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve made cards for people. Every birthday, anniversary or ‘parent’s’ day would require a new design... my mum has a box of all my little handmade squiggles from over the years. I’ve always loved giving cards, not just making them... writing a sweet sentiment and thinking about the smiles they raise. Don’t you just love receiving a card in the post, that colourful little envelope landing on your doormat?

All of my greetings cards and envelopes are made from 100% recycled material, are printed with eco inks and come in either compostable corn starch sleeves or packaging free - oh and they’re in coated meaning they don’t have a thin layer of plastic over the surface of the card! My posting materials are all recycled and recyclable too... including plastic free paper tape. I can also write them and post them directly to the recipient for you to save the additional postage... I use my best handwriting I promise 😁

Giving cards can be a bit of an eco minefield for people trying to do the right thing environmentally but I’m attempting to make the choice as ecologically sound as possible 🤞

Sweet like honey for today’s prompt!

A pleasing little honey bee on his honeycomb. Don’t you just love seeing the bees hopping from flower to flower at this time of year? My neighbours have planted seasonal wildflowers and I’m working on Benj letting me scatter some seeds for next year (the garden is his domain you see!) ...it’d be so good for the bees so here’s hoping 🤞🐝💛
