Revelation RLR Les Paul Recording finished in Honey Burst over flamed maple.

Designed by the late Alan Entwistle, the Revelation RLR is a wonderful homage to the legendary 1970s Gibson Les Paul Recording, bringing all the wonderful low-impedance pickup tones and array of phase switching that made original such an icon, back into the realm of the budget-conscious player.

In fact, whereas the Gibson Recording offered a more utilitarian look, with its natural mahogany or maple finishes, Revelation have here featured a rather lovely flamed maple top beneath that vibrant honey-burst finish.

Besides this, there's set neck mahogany construction, Grover hardware, a bound 22 fret trapezoid-laden fretboard, Entwistle NeoTron single coil pickups and that plethora of tone and phase switching controls.

This is a rare and beautifully designed machine.

Another quilt-top Beauty...

Hamer XT Sunburst Q/T finished in Amber Burst.

The Hamer Sunburst is a bona fide piece of guitar heritage. Hailing from 1977, and taking its cues from Gibson's Les Paul Double-Cutaway, this became the most iconic Hamer design, providing looks and spec to rival Gibson.

This later iteration, the Sunburst Q/T brings this quality into realm of the modern budget-conscious player. There's still full mahogany set neck construction, two fabulous Seymour Duncan designed humbucking pickups and a gorgeous quilted maple top beneath that Amber Burst finish, along with abalone purfling and classic trapezoid mother of pearl inlays.

Stunning 2014 PRS SE Custom 24, finished in Trampas Green over quilted maple.

A seriously lavish piece of wood on offer here.

Beyond that gorgeous finish, the Custom 24 boasts a wide-thin, 25” scale-length maple neck, mahogany body, rosewood fretboard, those iconic bird mother of pearl inlays, PRS trem unit and potent 85/15 humbucking pickups (harnessed to volume, push/pull tone control with three-way blade selector).

The pickups in this guitar are based on the amazing 85/15 humbuckers that have been used in all of PRS' American Core line models. Paul Reed Smith has said that these would have been the perfect pickups back in 1985, because they're hot enough to give you all of the punchy high-gain tones you'd ever want but clean up beautifully too. They sound crystal-clear and articulate without any top-end harshness.

There are no surprises in how this guitar sounds. Mahogany with a good maple cap, and two humbuckers are always going to be Les Paul territory but PRS have designed a guitar that is much more versatile. You have a great trem at your disposal as all the twang you could want from those coil tapped humbuckers.

Tanglewood Pioneer

A rare and beautifully made electric guitar here that channels the single coil tremolo sounds of the Strat through the set-neck mahogany sustain of the Les Paul.

Put together with skill in Korea at the Cort factory, this guitar boasts a superb spec. There's mahogany under that subtly figured maple top and up the neck. Within the rosewood, there's some lovely abalone inlay work and there's a range of quality gold Wilkinson hardware.

Fender Limited Edition Player Plus Meteora finished in ebony, with matching ebony fretboard and gig bag.

Stunning offset design and impeccable Fender workmanship combine in this most special of Fender guitars.

Designed in 2011, the Meteora originally saw the light of day in 2018 as part of the short lived Alternate Reality series. Garnering rave reviews, Fender tweaked the design to create an enduring legend, the Player Plus Meteora.

The PP Meteora embraces the demands of the 21st-century guitarist, scrapping the vintage-inspired specs, this version gets twin humbuckers and a whammy bar – and falls in line with other guitars in the Player Plus range with locking tuners, rolled fretboard edges and even a 12-inch fretboard radius.

This limited edition specimen boasts a gorgeous black aesthetic, incorporating an ebony fretboard, two dynamic Player Series Humbuckers, a 25.5" scale length, a satin maple neck and quality hardware including Knurled Flat-Top control k***s and a switch, giving players the option of swapping the volume controls and therefore producing volume swells on either pick-up.

This is a groundbreaking piece of original Fender design that looks and sounds the business.

2004 Epiphone '67 Reissue Flying V

Something wicked this way comes, in the form of this gorgeous 2004 '67 reissue Epiphone Flying V, decked out in red, with fitted hard case.

This lovely V, a nod to the iconic 1967 Gibson machine boasts a fabulous spec. It's powered by a pair of open Alnico Classic humbucking pickups that produce plenty of explosive projection, as you'd hope for in a guitar this pointy. The set mahogany neck, rounded to a comfortable C-profile feels super in the left hand, and it is paired with a rosewood fretboard. It's also equipped with individual volume controls and a universal tone, and Grover machine heads.

Gorgeous Vintage VRS 100 finished in beautifully aged White & Gold.

Taking its cues from the elegant styling of PRS's Custom 24, this meticulously designed guitar packs the kind of punch that belies the modest price.

Beyond the delightfully mellowing white finish, there's set neck construction, excellent Wilkinson hardware finished in subtly tarnished gold, two belting humbuckers, abalone fretboard inlays, a 24 fret rosewood fretboard and a classic Gibson style 24.75" scale length.
