This year I have decided to make a difference. I’m in a fortunate position where I can make and sell my work around the world, and I thought I should use that gift for the good. Over the coming months I will be making and (hopefully selling) jewellery where I will donate £5 from every sale to a local charity. I will also be donating 10% of my profit to my KIVA.org at the end of the year to help finance craft based projects around the world.
My first project is the semicolon; pendant, it was suggested to me by my eldest daughter. If you had spoken to me about depression a few years ago, I would have been clueless and probably like most people thought “Pull yourself together and cheer up”, that was until my eldest daughter was diagnosed with severe depression. As a family we have gone through just over 2 years of uncertainty, tears, stress and hope, thankfully we are now coming out the other side. Times have been tough for all of us, and I’m hoping that by reading this post, you will see that it can happen to anyone at any time, but that there is a way out. It’s not easy and it does take time, but normal life can return and su***de is NOT the answer. Please like and share this post. The charity I will be donating to is PeerTalk

I’ve been packing this lot up (and more!) for the house I’m showing in. My work will be at 13, Maldon Road which is part of the D**e Road trail 〰️ go take a peak! .
