Well it’s been a minute… but we are back! Our lovely little space in .studios is once again busting at the seems with beautiful goodies, lots of old faves and a couple of new products too 🔆

The first of our gorgeous new ‘Nikita’ pouches are (finally) live on Etsy 🙌

Named after our wonderful colleague and pal in Pushkar. Since we haven’t been able to get to India in person, Nikita helps me select all our items over FaceTime allowing me to ‘hand’ select every bag, kimono, purse… everything. She’s a diamond and this wouldn’t be possible without her 💓

Sari Shopper Love 💕 These little babies are just fab! Big enough for a night away (last weekend I took everything I needed for a night in London), and small enough for a an everyday bag (perfect yesterday for out and about in Brighton, to keep essentials safe and pop new purchases in!) I am obsessed! Have also been using as a changing bag with all the kids bits and bobs in. It’s just an all round good egg, well bag.

Oh and their made from reclaimed sari and leftover fabric, making them super sustainable.

A little bit of India has arrived in .studios 🌈🙌

My teeny space is now bursting at the seams with Vintage Sari Kimonos, Headbands and Gift Bags. As well as the stunning new Sari Shoppers and Classic Over Sized Cashmere Scarves in some beautiful new colour ways 🌞

Hey 👋

Thought I would reintroduce us as it’s been a while. This is us, Hannah and Joe, at least it was us… this photo is a few years old now, pre ambling traders, pre babies, pre pandemic.

It was taken during a 10 day treck in India, at the time it was one of the hardest thing we had done, which seems kind of funny now.

I love this photo because it reminds me to keep going and to keep smiling. Just keep moving forward a little bit at a time and you will get there eventually.

It was at the end of this treck that we brought our first Ambling Traders stock. Beautiful handloomed blankets from a lady in a tiny mountain village, totally spare of the moment, and thats how it all started ⛰

Kimonos for days.....💜💙♥️

They have arrived, and they are so beautiful, and I am so so excited to share them with you!

The sari is such an iconic garment, and these kimonos are a loving tribute to that. A true celebration of colour and pattern and texture.

They will be available in .studios from next week and I will also be listing limited numbers on Etsy.
