To laser etch your guitar is like a tattoo for your guitar, permanent, only for you and we think it's the most the most exciting thing to happen in guitar development since the first commercially successful electric guitar, the Fender Telecaster. Tom Lamont is the founder of Burntaxe, if you need to know how to improve your guitar or solve any issue, buzzing, humming, squealing or otherwise, he's your man. Tom is a self taught guitarist, has played in bands for over 20 years playing over 300 gigs all over UK and Europe. Tom has real life experience of the touring band life style and knows what it means to have the best possible guitar set up and what it takes to create something memorable for the audience to truly experience. We've etched guitars for famous guitarists in the punk, metal and alternative scene, such as, Tim McIlrath from Rise Against, Ben Weinman from the Dillinger Escape Plan, Ryan Bruce from Dragged Under. Meeting your idols is a huge perk to the job :)
These giants of the industry trusted us with their beloved guitars, we designed the artwork, took the guitars apart, we laser etched our stunning mandala artworks and handed them back, set up and ready to play that same night! Each guitar or pickguard gets the same level of dedication and detail poured into it. We wouldn't do it anyother way, this is the Burntaxe way.
