Rob Life is the man behind the excellent Things We Like at the and one of Brighton's most respected dealers, always a hit at our recors fair - Matty S is a co founder of the collective playing regularly around town and in London

Expect tropical sounds and tight grooves from across genres and scenes 8-12pm

First Press Record Fair returns August 8th 2026 at the Brighthelm Centre! We will be back for another afternoon of vinyl sellers and DJs this time in the heart of Brighton at The Brighthelm Centre followed by an after party just around the corner at the Earth and Stars

What a day!! Thanks so much to everyone who came along and made this one of our best yet 💥

Huge props to the Lido team who were fantastic as always, the 45day crew who soundtracked the day with some unreal sets, each and every seller who bought some frankly ridiculous records - the bar was RAISED, the fabulous Sri for her dope threads, Reloop for the top notch gear, Jen for her help on the day and always, and most of all everyone who showed up and did some serious digging!

By turning up not only did you go home with some great cuts (thanks to those who let us know what they found as pictured here..) but you supported your local record fair, helped keep the scene alive by buying direct from dealers and contributed to the fantastic work of Help Musicians, laying the framework for the record makers of tomorrow - a huge huge thank you to you all.

The good news keeps coming - we will be back, and soon! Get August 8th in your diary for our next record fair at the Brighthelm Centre! More to follow...

Hey ! Looking forward to seeing you TOMORROW at First Press Record Fair x We Love 45s @ Saltdean Lido, Brighton - 23/05/26 - we'll be there from 12 until 4pm - with the weather looking ideal, the pool is open as is the restaurant and bar - a perfect time to come for a dig and a dip...

🚴 🏊‍♀️ Travel announcement to Saltdean Lido! 🚌 🚗

It couldn't be easier to get to from Brighton or further afield! All the details here - see you on Saturday 23rd May 12-4pm

BUS - Take the 12, 12X, 14 or 27 from Brighton Station or anywhere in the city centre or near the pier
If coming from outside of Brighton the 12X runs along the coast past the Lido, if you’re coming from Worthing or Eastbourne it’s just one bus away!

CYCLE - Treat yourself to a trip along the Under Cliff Walkway, past the Brighton Marina it’s a breezy 20 minute cycle

DRIVE - Free Parking on site and in the surrounding streets - make sure to validate if you’re staying for more than 2 hours!
