Floranina Floranina delivers bespoke floral designs for all occasions. Workshops & courses are also available.

Nina and her team have been making floral dreams come true for many clients since 2008 (first as Ninushka Designs and then as Floranina from 2014). Nina became a NAFAS Area Demonstrator in 2018 and her demonstrations bring a lot of cheer to flower clubs and other organisations. She also completed a NAFAS/OCN Teacher Training (Level 3) course in 2021. Nina regularly teaches floral design in and aro

With a background in journalism Nina spent ten years as Editor of various floral magazines; Flora Magazine (from September 2023 to May 2025; the magazine then ceased trading in June 2025); British Florist Association's trade magazine (from December 2018 to August 2023); UK Editorial Advisor for Fleur Creatif (November 2018 until the imprint ceased trading during the summer of 2023); Flora International Magazine (January 2015 to October 2018).

It was a very creative workshop with Hailsham Flower Club tonight.

Fourteen members created beautiful sustainable garlands using hay and a medley of flowers and foliage and a good time was had by all, including for those who just came along to watch.

The evening was tinged with tears and sadness though as we remembered Jane - a very active club member who passed away suddenly last week. I very much hope that the wellness and mindfulness that flowers bring gave those present some comfort at this sad time.

I am very proud of all the hard work everyone put into their masterpieces and know they will be treasured for a long time to come.

It was a full house @ Notcutts Garden Pride Ditchling this morning for a sustainable table centre design workshop featuring heavenly Hydrangea and glorious Rosa 'Lovely Harper!'.

Everyone worked so hard creating their chicken wire bases and I am so pleased with their efforts.

Big shout out to Petra, Tricia, Lulu, Ann, Diane S, Cherry, Jackie, Sharon, Debbie, Diane C, Nicola, Maggie, Sam, Pauline, Laura and Pam - your creations are simply heavenly.

After all that creativity in high temps it's now time to chill a bit... 🌊 🌞

Such a long time ago now but I remember it so very clearly.

Leaving my family, my friends and my country for a man I barely knew was not quite what I had planned whilst away at Uni. But... it turned out to be the best decision I ever made!

Such a super afternoon with my Floranina Belles today exploring how to use vegetables in design.

It was a very hot afternoon with no breeze but everyone soldiered on and created such fun designs with peppers, sweetcorn and Brussels sprouts too.

And glorious Gerbera Pasta Rebel Typhoon and Germini Piccolini completed the whole ensemble.

Well done Cherry, Petra, Sam, Nicola, Jan H and Maggie! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Jan C is away on holiday as is Pauline but we'll see them soon again...

And so lovely to be able to make a fuss over birthday girl Sam too! 🎈🍰🎁
