I often get messages and calls asking if I have certain sweets in stock so here is a list of what I regularly have in stock.

I try to cater for all varied dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan and gluten, dairy and sugar free.

What a fantastic afternoon I had yesterday at the Rest Stop Cafe at Central Methodist Church, Brighouse.

They regularly host events and activities that are dementia friendly and this fits in perfectly with my Reminiscence Sessions.

I take lots of sweets along, I talk about the history of them, we reminisce and then, most importantly, we eat them.

The group was so welcoming and friendly and the feedback I got was that they really enjoyed the session.

If this is something you'd be interested in then please contact the shop or message in the comments.

I have many years experience in Social Care especially with those living with Dementia so your residents/relatives are in safe hands. I visit Care Homes and Community Groups.

The Sweetest Thing is back open this morning for all your weekend sweets.

Pizza Boxes full of 1kg of sweets are £15 - ideal for sharing at your World Cup Parties. Order in advance and pop in to collect.

Open until 1pm today.

Access is available from either end of the street but only on my side of the street - you cannot cross from Post Office side.

This is your final call for end of term gifts, sweet jars and sweet cones as The Sweetest Thing is closed next week (Monday 6th July - Friday 10th July), I will reopen on Saturday 11th July 2026.
