Jame’s Rose Soulfire spending a little time with us this morning after being stored in the recent heat and developing some brake issues. Luckily no seized pistons or lever’s and a decent system reset got them sorted, minor gear tweaks on this one too

Another custom build leaving workshop H/Q this morning - with dirt jump & pump track season well and truly in full swing, plus two brand new pump tracks opening just 15 minutes apart in his home town - customer Adam decided it was time to pull the trigger on the right tool for the job and had us build this proper little 26” missile. Wearing its half brown & half tan paint, this one’s packing a serious spec list with a rock solid Marzocchi fork, plenty of Hope & Burgtec bling all rolling on DT Swiss’s ultra fast DJ wheels.

Liam’s Cube Stereo kicking us off today after developing the dreaded seatpost ‘bob’ from a blown IFP. Customer’s looking move this one on in the near future so wanted it sorted ready for sale. For those that know, this IFP was so jammed into the top of the vent valve head we had to use the ‘hot spoke trick’ to dig it out - fully serviced in house, same day.

Lovley little Cube Peloton for our old mate Josh getting a makeover in the workshop - this one was a great second hand score, super low mileage but just looking a little tired & unloved, so we got stuck in with a good strip/clean and a nice list of all the simple consumables

Jeremy’s Whyte E-160 getting a thorough sort out to wrap up the week. A good mix of jobs on this one with some lovely component replacement/upgrades and some regular service consumables. Seriously worn O.E seatpost binned for some Fox goodness, badly bent crankarm & pedals replaced with some Hope bling plus a few bearings, new rubber & a fresh chain.

Ren’s Unno Mith wrapping up the working week today - We had this one in for some suspension love and a nice rear wheel sort out after some European bike park action. Fork & shock on the suspension bench and a request for ‘the best’ possible wheelbuild after the customer dinged a stock O.E rear.

Ben’s immaculate Giant TCR in with us today for a case of the dreaded fully integrated headset woes. Customer had a front end creak and sadly during some routine home maintenance to try and cure it, one of the O.E headset bearings fell apart in situe. Whilst virtually a brand new bike we advised the customer the best resolution for this would be to strip & rebuild with an Enduro stainless bearing kit and all associated consumables.

Adam’s Norco Fluid VLT with us today for a huge custom wheel build package and seatpost sort out. Being a nimble little fly weight e-bike we were tasked with shedding as much unwanted rotational mass as possible to really liven things up on this one. Step up - DT Swiss’s 350 hubs complete with the new ‘degrees of freedom’ ratchet kit to eliminate some pedal kickback, laced up to the burly-but-light XM481 all mountain rims wrapped in staggered Conti tyre casings. A total weight loss of 480grams over the previous wheel/tyre combo, customer took this one straight from the shop to the local woods and clocked up several PB’s on the first ride.
