Rebound Books is a L'Arche community project where we create unique journals,
sketchbooks, diaries and notepads. We upcycle books which were destined for landfill, donated by customers,
or feeling miserable in a charity shop. All our notebooks are handmade by members of L'Arche Brecon. Our Community is a member of the worldwide federation of 137 L'Arche communities where members with and without
disabilities
through sharing lives together discover, develop and share their unique - and often hidden- talents. For our members the workshop is a form of occupational therapy,
allowing them to make a unique contribution to the wider community with the message that 'disability is not inability'. Knowing this they can wake up each morning with a sense of purpose
and fall asleep each night with a sense of pride. To find out more go to:
