My latest longboard completed this week but this time is powered by a remote control 24v motor. The longboard has been made from scratch laminating 4mm ply together in a bespoke press to make the main deck, routed to shape with a bespoke aluminium template with a clear lacquer applied to seal the deck. The board is finished with wide trucks and wheels with Black grip tape on the top. Really pleased with how this longboard has turned out and works a treat. As this is a prototype I have still got to look at a battery cover.

My latest longboard completed this week in recognition of possibly the best tennis grand slam tournement in the world, Wimbledon. The longboard has been made from scratch laminating 4mm ply together in a bespoke press to make the main deck, routed to shape with a bespoke aluminium template, logos sprayed with Black, Green & Purple paint and a clear lacquer applied to seal the design. The board is finished with wide trucks and wheels with Black grip tape on the top. Really pleased with how this longboard has turned out.

I have been practicing with my router sign making templates this week and really pleased with the end result of the first attempt. As this is the first time I have created signs this way I will have a little more practice to perfect the results. The scaffold board I used worked quite well too even though I had not prepared the surface beforehand.

Before and after photographs of the pre-used stage light I purchased second hand and I refurbished to include polishing the aluminium rear case and handle, preparing the front case ready for painting Red with Black filter holders. I have fitted the finished lamp onto an existing 3 legged stand that I will paint in a suitable colour to match the finish of the light. Finally, a remote controlled colour changing LED lamp has been installed and I PAT tested the completed lamp.

I do have more of these style stage lights in stock so if you are looking for an interesting light for your home let me know and PM me for style and price.

My latest project making pens with acrylic blocks turned on my wood lathe being fitted to working suspension pen kits. They came out better than expected and my wife kindly sold all 3 just after I made them. Looking forward to receiving more parts in the post next week so I can make some more.
