Another couple of rarities that turned up this week, The Mothers LP is a US pressing.. Zappa at his most scathing! The Dunwich Horror OST is a bit of a departure for Les Baxter, who was most well known as a prime exponent of the 50's lounge/exotica boom, 'Quiet Village' being his most famous composition. Loosely based on the H.P. Lovecraft novella, the film stars Sandra Dee and Dean Stockwell, and the soundtrack is suitably dark, with familiar motifs from Baxter's previous work atop Morricone-esque strings and full band arrangements. Both available in the shop now xx

Lots of new stock out today, usual mix of obscurities (Indonesian progressive rock anyone?) and a nice run of newer stuff (Bicep, Flamingods, Django Django & Self Esteem) in over the weekend, pricing up a jazz collection tomorrow with a few collectables so keep an eye out for updates, if you see anything you like in the video just leave a comment or drop me a message xx
