Good evening everyone!

I am so sorry I have been quiet the last few weeks, let’s just say it has been turbulent!!!

Anyway, I am back, with what I think is a fab idea.....

The borrow box!

I have a box all set up to go out to a new home every week, this will give you the opportunity to see the amazing books that Usborne sell.

I will tailor the box to the audience and will ensure I stick to government guideline.

The box will be ready on a Friday and can be borrowed until the following Monday, I will then collect and quarantine until the next Friday.

So do I have any takers to be my first guinea pig.....?

Who’s excited about World Book Day....

I know it’s going to be slightly different this year as the children will be at home, but my girls will still be dressing up as there favourite book character!!

On 4th March I will be running a virtual book fair all day, I will be accepting the £1 vouchers towards a new book, I believe the school will send these out after half term.

As I will be working with the school on the fair, the school will benefit. The more that is spent, the more the school will recieve to spend on new books.

Daunted by homeschooling? Don’t worry, Usborne is here to help!

How are you all getting on with homeschooling? I have to say this week has been tough, feels like same boring tasks and less and less interaction from Jess!

If you head over to my website you will be able to find a whole host of free activity sheets that can support you, they cover English, Maths, Science, Mental Health and then fun activities such as colouring, word searches and much more. If you don’t have a printer and are local to me (Boorley Park) I am more than happy to print some sheets for you, we need to stick together!!!

I know there are lots of wipe clean books on the market and I would absolutely recommend them, be it Usborne or from Home bargains!

Jessica is in year R and I am trying to homeschool her, the wipe clean books have been my saviour as we can keep going over the same things and get better at them! Just look at the 2 sets of pictures, 3 weeks apart.... amazing.

Good afternoon

I hope you are all surviving this lockdown.....

I would love to say yes but fear I am not winning the battle with my children!!!! Home learning, 21 month age gap and far to much energy just spells a disaster! Oh and throw a teenager into the mix!!!🙈🤪 However, I am not going to beat myself up, it won’t be for forever........

I had a book delivery this morning which brightened up my day, I love seeing what my customers have bought, one of which I fell in love with and will be getting for the girls with my next order.....

The book was - Pop up Seasons and it is for age 3+, it is an absolutely beautiful book and so good at explaining about the different seasons. The price is £10.99.

I am also very excited to say I now have copies the 2021 catalogue, if anyone who would like to have a look, just let me know and I can pop one round, I will need these back and they will be quarantined for a week before I hand them on to anyone else.
