I really miss our Art shop - I know lots of people do - 23 Years in Boston and nearly 9 in London - 32 years altogether selling the finest Artist Materials money can buy! ✍️🖌🔴🔷🔸... One trading year we had over 70 suppliers and managed to double our turnover - Great days!

Harvest Arts was an art shop we ran in Norbury SW16 from 1977-1985. We sold gifts, cards, pictures and framing + a full range of art + craft materials!

Where it all started - our 1st shop opened in May 1977 - HARVEST ARTS - we sold Quality Gifts including Royal Doulton, Limoges, Cape d'Monte, Artist Pictures and Prints, Winsor & Newton/Daler Rowney Art Materials, Craft Materials, Twilleys Needlework Supplies, Stationery, Waterman Fountain Pens, Medici Greetings Cards, Books, Posters and provided a weekly Bespoke Picture Framing Service - people actually cried when we closed Harvest Arts in 1984 and moved to Lincolnshire to begin a new life!

Our 2nd shop - Boston Artstore opened in Boston - May 1984. The locals said 'the Londoners and their fancy shop' wouldn't last 6 months but we eventually had a clientele that travelled over 40 miles to our shop, became the leading Art Supplies shop in South Lincolnshire, networked Lincolnshire providing graphic supplies to innumerable Printers and Studios throughout the county and but for an arson attack and unsustainable Internet cut-pricing we would still be supplying our wonderful customer base to this very day. Sadly, like hundreds of Art Shops across the country we had to eventually close in 2006 due to lack of local custom. A big thank you to all those who supported us through our golden years!
