We’ve had some cracking new books delivered today, particularly in terms of dark romance, thrillers and horror. The shelves are filling up nicely. We’ve also had children’s books delivered by local author Tom Vaughan and some new translated fiction and cosy crime.

How does it work?

It's simple...

🌟 Bring along one wrapped book (in good condition and around £10 in value). Bring along that one book that you bought on a whim that’s always mocking you from across the room that you’ve no intention of ever reading.

🌟 Everyone draws a number to decide the order.

🌟 On your turn, you can either unwrap a new book or steal one that's already been opened!

🌟 If your book gets stolen, you immediately get another turn to choose or steal.

Expect plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and the chance to leave with a brilliant new read you might never have picked for yourself!

Limited snacks and drinks will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own refreshments along too.
