🌳✨ TALE OF THE TREES STORY COMPETITION ✨🌳

Can you tell a story through the eyes of a tree? 🌱📖

We’re looking for imaginative stories written in first person from the perspective of a tree. You can be any tree, from any place, in any time period—an ancient oak watching history unfold, a rainforest giant protecting wildlife, a future tree on another planet, or even a tiny sapling with big dreams!

Let your roots dig deep into your imagination and bring your tree’s story to life. 🌳💚

🏆 Prizes include:
📚 Winning stories published in a book and featured on a story trail
🎉 Winners celebrated at our October launch event
💷 £50 voucher for one Primary winner and one Secondary winner

📅 Deadline: 23rd August 2026

🌿 Remember: Your story must be written in first person (I, me, my) from the perspective of a tree.

We read the wonderful story of Elmer by David McKee, talked about what makes us all unique, and created our very own patchwork elephants using recycled milk bottles! ♻️✨

The children loved exploring colours, patterns, and creativity — and every elephant turned out completely different, just like Elmer himself 💛
