Oakmeres are hosting Paws and Claws Photography on the shop forecourt on Thursday 30th July between 10am and 4pm.

Talk to Lisa & Jon to book a 30 minute photo shoot for your pet. There will be a £15 booking fee to have professional photos taken, plus you will receive an Oakmeres pet goody box worth over £40.

Your pet pics can be purchased direct from Paws and Claws Photography. 🐶🐶

This week's product highlights focus on some of our natural cleaning solutions - non-toxic, ecofriendly, budget-friendly and highly effective!

Green/Oxygen Bleach:
* Use as a natural, non-toxic alternative to bleach
* Use to clean toilets, mop floors, disinfect surfaces, shine-up your sinks, brighten tea-stained mugs, and as a laundry stain remover

Citric Acid & Soda Crystals:
* Use for general cleaning, grease removal, unblocking sinks and drains, and softening laundry
* Also ideal for removing water stains, limescale, soap scum and rust, and for descaling kettles, coffee machines and toilet

Each week, we will be highlighting specific tried and tested products which we love, but you may not know about.

We will be starting a series of 'Product Focuses' to highlight selected tried and tested products that we love, but you might not know about!

We are open this morning (Friday) until 12pm and tomorrow morning (Saturday) until 1pm, so pop along to Oakmeres to grab all the fruit and veg that you need for the Easter weekend, as well as:

* Easter Simnel cakes and gifts
* Refillery items including washing up and cleaning products
* Eggs, coffee, tea, honey, jams, chutneys, sweets and chocolates
* Wild bird and pet food
* Bunches of fresh alstroemerias
* Plants and compost for your gardening projects over the weekend

We will be closed Easter Sunday and Monday, but back to normal hours from Tuesday onwards. Happy Easter everyone!

We would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and took part in our Easter fun day on Saturday afternoon. It was fantastic seeing so many of you embracing the community spirit and having fun!

Big thanks also to our co-hosts Chatterbox Café and their delicious food stall, Britannia Windows for hosting the kids' magic show and the generous raffle prize, Rose Green Centre of Art and Craft for letting everyone use their workshop space for Easter basket decorating, So Lovely Hair & Beauty Salon, Jordan Butchers and Rose Green Post Office for taking part in the Easter egg hunt.

Thanks to the fantastic local businesses for displaying their products - Crumb2Crowd's delicious puds, Bramble Cottage's beautiful hand-made cosmetics, Jade Tuesday Moss with her Usborne children's books, Anthony Lowrey's toys and China Garden's Chinese dishes.

Finally, a huge thank you to Alex who provided her fantastic kids' face painting service completely for free! Face-Painting By Alex.
