🎨🎻 PERFORMERS’ PLATFORM – APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN 🎹🖌️
What colours do you hear in a Debussy prelude? What landscape emerges from a Schubert song? How might a Bach fugue look on canvas?
We’re excited to discover the answers!
Musicians are invited to take part in a unique Performers’ Platform at the Regis School of Music, celebrating the powerful connection between music and visual art.
Performers are asked not only to prepare a piece to perform, but also to submit an original piece of artwork inspired by their chosen music. During the performance, the artwork will be displayed for the audience, creating a fascinating dialogue between what we hear and what we see.
Whether you’re an instrumentalist, singer or any other musician, we would love to hear how your music inspires visual expression.
✨ Perform in a professional concert setting
✨ Showcase both your musical and artistic creativity
✨ Gain valuable performance experience
✨ Share your interpretation of music through two art forms
✨ Receive constructive, encouraging feedback
✨ Meet and connect with fellow creative artists
Importantly, this is a non-competitive festival. There are no rankings, trophies or winners—just an opportunity to perform, create, learn and be inspired in a supportive and celebratory environment.
Participants will receive feedback from the incredible educator and multi-instrumentalist Sarah Freestone, whose wealth of experience and passion for nurturing young musicians makes this a particularly valuable opportunity for performers of all ages and stages.
