We had such a wonderful time choosing this year's Charity Christmas Window Winners 🤗

Here's the detail behind each winning window:

🥇 First place Regenerage Charity Shops Preston
The team in Leyland built their fabulous Nutcrackers from drainpipes and plumbing pipes! The bodies were made flexible MDF and leftover wood. The drum was fashioned from a broken game and all the materials were made from recycled buttons, jewellery, unsaleable clothing and off cuts of ribbon.

🥈 Second place Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, Aberdeen
From a customer donation of a fabulous dressing gown - the idea for the team's festive window was born. This "Dickensian" take on Christmas and the star of the show, their exquisite Fox, was hand crafted from recycled clothing and the rest of his splendid clothing were again all customer donations.

🥉 Third place Helen & Douglas House Rose Hill in Oxon
Santa's workshop was the perfect theme for a children's hospice, guaranteed to put a smile on faces with this nostalgic take on Christmas with the wish of the gift of one more moment at this special time of year.

⏳ Just a few days left until our Christmas Window Competition closes and we couldn’t resist sharing another incredible entry! ❄️✨

This magical Narnia-inspired display comes from Greyhound Rescue Wales in Swansea and it’s a brilliant example of creativity and sustainability.

Every element has been made or re-purposed:
✨ The dress and crown created from donated rag materials
✨ The lamppost crafted from cardboard tubes
✨ Snow made from the filling of old duvets

A stunning showcase of imagination and resourcefulness, well done to the team! 👏💙

In just two weeks, our office and warehouse close for the festive break. Here is a reminder on those important last order and delivery dates of 2025:

🎄Friday 19th December - final orders by 2pm for guaranteed delivery before Christmas
🎄Monday 22nd to Tuesday 23rd - orders received will be despatched but not guaranteed for before Christmas delivery
🎄Wednesday 24th - office and warehouse closes at lunchtime
🎄Thursday 25th to Thursday 1st January - office and warehouse closed
🎄 Friday 2nd January - office and warehouse re-opens. Orders received over the festive break and on MyAcopia will be despatched
