The shops closed down but I'll still be crafting for myself and family.
Here's a bookmark I made for myself last night, it's set with a Sunstone from Tvedestrand Norway 🇧🇻
With the job starting baristaing at the bookshop this month I've been reading a lot more so this has been a fitting make for it.
Once my meta verified runs out this month I'll be able to change the account name to a personal account so you'll see a change but still me.

Thanks so much to all of you! The orders have been coming in and it's been fantastic! Definitely makes this a great note to end on.
I start work at hopefully 16th of the month (depending on how decorating goes) so I'm looking to finish before then so I can start the new job on a fresh note but the sale will be running till then or until we sell all the remaining stock.

We're Gonna Miss You

It's with a lot of consideration that We've decided to close the doors on Sølv Lines

t's been a fantastic ride over 5 years getting to do what we love but it's time for something new.

Over the past year the market has cut in half with international sales being restricted, and then expenses has gone up (silver costs have doubled) which has made running and creating to be quite difficult. It hit me by surprise but I hadn't realised that sales has gone down by half in the past year (Brexit has meant I can't sell to Europe as of December 2024 which was a big market of mine) and the work to promote and try to build it up has grown. In the end the money left after the work isn't enough which has been a difficult choice as it's been such a fun job!

We've loved each moment of this! Doing our first workshop at .espresso , attending and , working on sentimental projects like the memorial ash jewellery, even going for coffee and noticing the barista wearing my jewellery!

You've all been fantastic!

So what's next?

Well my brother has opened a bookshop that I'll be doing barista work at here in Blairgowrie called and Demi will continue to do her art under

We'll continue to be creative and I'll still be doing silversmithing for fun but as a business it's time for a new year.

We're running a closing down sale for the next two weeks to move some stock we've got ready to go, so why not check it out!

Just off my workbench today I've got this beautiful banded agate necklace available with a stamped heart on the backside.
Made from sterling silver it sits on a 45cm sterling silver trace chain.
I'm really happy with how this one came out! It's £60 in total and I can either post it out to the UK or drop off local to Blairgowrie.

knitted this beautiful Squirrel who deserves some glasses to match the fantastic work gone into her.

Meet Hazel, my friend knitted this fantastic squirrel and she needed a pair of specks so onto the bench and she's now the wearer of a pair of sterling silver glasses!
It was definitely fun doing something different and I can now add optician to the CV 😂
