Memory bears are such a personal item, its always an honour to be asked to make them.

I make sure each one is made to heirloom quality so you know it will last for years to come.

While memory bears are not considered toys and cannot be safety tested i make sure to treat mine as if they are - each piece of fabric is bonded to 100% cotton, triple stitched and safety eyes and stuffing used to make sure they are as safe and strong as i can make for everyone to enjoy 💛

It was a honour to make these memory bears for two littles who lost a special person this year.

They both chose pieces for the memories they hold and so I did my best to incorporate each of the chosen items, but still make the bears similar to each other.
I added a tricky coloured top as a removable scarf, which i really like.

Hopefully these bears will do their jobs in their new home and give the best hugs 💕🥰💕

A jacket is for life, not just for christmas! 🪡🧵

This heirloom jacket is a much loved piece of clothing that my client wanted repaired so it can be worn and enjoyed for many more years.

Unfortunately due to the age of jacket the cotton thread was disintergrating and there were worn spots and holes in the lining and seams due to use.
I hand stitched the trim back on (wherever i touched more came away 🫣), re-secured all the buttons with waxed thread , fixed the seams and patched the worn spots to ensure the jacket will look lovely for many more outings.

Although this was a very time consuming repair (that fabric was TOUGH!!) Im really pleased with the finished results, many of the fixes cant be noticed which i love

Super chocolatey birthday cake!

A 6” chocolate sponge with Nutella & chantilly cream between layers.

As we wanted a change from buttercream the outside is finished and decorated with a whipped milk chocolate ganache and a Nutella drip.
Plenty of Cadburys chocs and gold leaf to finish it all off 🍫🎂✨

Ive been so busy this summer ive not posted a cake make in ages, but i couldnt let this little beaut be missed! (Also school starting is a big help here too!!)

I was asked to make a gothic looking coffin shaped cake - but cute.

I LOVE it 😍😍😍

Ive been wanting to make a cake in this style for a while so it was a great opportunity to really go for it. I love the pops of purple & sparkle to lift the black.
The skulls are solid milk chocolate, dusted with edible food colours, so everything is edible

Its not every day your daddy is made mayor so a special dress is absolutely needed

Ive had 1 meter of this beautiful michael miller print for years, just waiting for the right project for my little girl. I love how this dress came out & i can fil all the leftover scraps in the palm of my hand so it was meant to be!

I used the full width of the fabric and lined it to give a lovely full twirly princess skirt. And hopefully lots of wear as theres plenty of growing room too 💕

When my little man said he needed a new swim bag i saw an opportunity and went for it!

He made a great choice picking the navy palm tree leaves print in water repellent printed outdoor canvas and the rainbow ripstop fabric, both from UK Fabrics Online.
The canvas has enough structure that it didnt need lining or interfacing and will be much easier to wash & dry after use.

I added an extra panel inside to separate wet & dry, plenty of zip pockets and a hanging loop to make it easier to pack and store.
As my son LOVES octopus i ‘drew’ one to make a leather patch logo so it is unique.

I didnt plan ahead and the eyelets i had on hand werent big enough for the jumbo cord i used to make this a rucksack, but that will be a quick fix to alter once i find them. For now its awesome as a drawstring bag and does the job just fine!
