Good news, the floor repairs have been completed earlier than anticipated, as a result the shop will be open tomorrow and Friday.

During the coming week, urgent repairs are being carried out to the shop's floor. As a result, the shop will be temporarily closed.

It is hoped that the work will be completed to reopen on Saturday 4th October, however please call to check before committing to a long journey (0121-551-8878).

Overnight the shop was broken into and a quantity of stock stolen, mostly high value and/or out of production kits.

We are awaiting a crime number from West Midlands Police, once we have one we will publish it here.

Meanwhile, if you are offered any kits under suspicious circumstances please report it to the police.

Owing to staff ill health (Mark), the shop will only be open two days a week until Mark is better. This will be either Thursday or Friday, depending on the availability of Richard Kemp who is standing in for Mark, plus Saturdays as usual.

This week the shop is open today (09/02/23) and closed tomorrow. If you are planning to visit next week or future weeks it is best to phone ahead (0121-551-8878) to check before setting out.

Regretably, owing to personal circumstances, we will not be trading at this year's Scale ModelWorl.

We are sorry that we have had to take this decision and disappoint our many supporters, however we will still be attending othe model shows on the circuit and fully intend to be at SMW 2022.

Owing to staff illness Parabellum is temporarily closed for this week, we hope to reopen next Thursday 5th November.

The Parabellum shop will be reopening this coming Thursday 18th June, from 11.00 am. However due to the small size of the shop the following restrictions apply:

One customer at a time unless family members, please knock the door for entry.

Mask must be worn covering nose and mouth at all times.

Hand sanitiser to be used on entering.

Please maintain 2m distance from staff until being served.

Please consider other customers who maybe waiting outside.

Birmingham City Council has decreed that because the footpath outside is less than 3,2m wide there can be no queuing to get into the shop. So if you are in a car please remain in your car until the customer being served leaves.

If you are showing the symptoms of Covid-19 do not enter.

N.B .Wearing the mask is important as there is insufficient space to quarantine stock if people cough over any items, we would have to shut for a minimum of 4 days,14 if they are later found to be infected. While this is not part of Government guidelines it is the only way we can open after doing a risk assessment.
