Michael Morpurgo visited the Williamson yesterday to give a sold-out talk. He saw the Roger Lancelyn Green display -was so surprised to discover a childhood inspiration was born and lived in Wirral (had thought he lived in Magic Land). Said a favourite read when he was a boy was King Arthur. He was very impressed with our lovely gallery!
