Our prerelease events may be over, but there’s still plenty more Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit action coming your way at The Adventurer’s Attic!

Team up for some 2v2 Commander action with a shared life total and plenty of chaos.

Heart of the Mountain: Arkenstone Event
Fight for control of the Arkenstone, score points by holding it, and see who can claim victory!

Commander Party
Another chance to jump into themed Commander and enjoy the set with the community.

Did you know we now have a growing TCG singles and bulk section in-store?

You can browse through cards for:

🟣 Magic: The Gathering
🔵 Pokémon
🟡 Yu-Gi-Oh!
🟢 Riftbound

…and pick up anything from useful deck pieces to shiny finds and collection fillers.

💷 Bulk cards – 20p each
✨ Reverse Foils / Holographics – 50p each

If you’re buying a larger quantity, we may also be able to offer a discount at staff discretion.

We also buy and trade singles and bulk, depending on current cash flow, budgets, and what the store is looking for at the time.

As a general guide, trades are usually around:

💵 60% of market value in cash
🔄 70% of market value in trade

These rates are subject to change and staff discretion, so please speak to us if you’ve got cards you’d like us to look at.

❤️ One important ask from us:
Please help us keep the bulk area organised. If you browse through cards, return them to the correct place, and if children are looking through the section, please make sure they’re treating the cards and organisation with care.

A lot of time goes into sorting and maintaining it, and keeping everything tidy means everyone gets to enjoy browsing it!

👽🎲 BOARD GAME PLAYTESTERS WANTED! 🎲👽

We’re excited to be hosting a special playtesting session for RATION, an upcoming board game from independent designer Blood Orange Games!

RATION is a sci-fi survival social deduction game, and this is your chance to sit down, play it before release, give feedback, and help influence the development of the game itself.

🧙‍♂️🏔️ MAGIC EVENTS ARE LEVELING UP AT THE ATTIC! 🏔️🧙‍♂️

We’ve finalised a whole run of upcoming Magic: The Gathering events, and with The Hobbit arriving in August, there’s a LOT to look forward to! 👀

From August onwards, we’re aiming to run an additional Friday or Saturday Magic event every two weeks, alternating between the two — giving our community even more chances to play.
