I can’t believe it has been nearly a year since this gorgeous wedding at Wynyard hall. It has quite literally flown by!
I’ve been meaning to post for weeks but life has been very busy of late! Between beginning to deliver this season’s beautiful weddings, I am also in the process of moving house. We have some glorious weddings lined up this summer and I can’t wait to share with you more of what we have been up to in due course ✨

A journal from the weekend ❤️ Celebrating Camilla & Tom, their beautiful Spring wildflower wedding and the most gorgeous, joyous colour palette.
I adored being back at one of my favourites, Thicket Priory, creating for the loveliest couple. This one was a colour-lover’s dream and we transformed the venue in to a organic wildflower meadow

It was lovely to be back at Middleton lodge today doing a site visit for a wedding upcoming this year. It is a venue I have dressed the different spaces of many times, but it still offers endless possibilities for floral design.
Looking back to one of my favourite from last year: Anna & Alastair’s wedding. The couple made use of the Coach house private dining room for their intimate wedding breakfast; I adore designing for intimate celebrations as you can really lean in to creating a romantic, personal and private space, maximising floral impact in a smaller area.

It’s nearly Spring, which means it’s definitely time to share a little from this editorial shoot again! I still love these photos as much as the day I received them, and I still look through and swoon at different close ups that I haven’t noticed before. I’m kind of getting the itch to do a photo shoot again!

For couples that might be choosing their wedding season - Spring is a time of year for wedding flowers that should not be slept on, there are so many good varieties unique to the season that I can’t wait to get using. Some of my favourites include spirea, ranunculus, tulips and anemone.

From initial conversations with Tara and Luke I was so excited to bring to life their enchanted garden vision, and I knew the historical beauty of Birdsall house would be the perfect venue to begin the narrative.
When the British weather brought Tara and Luke’s outdoor ceremony indoors, Birdsall House was reimagined as an elegant secret garden. Guests entered through sculptural floral pillars, before moving along an aisle softened with meadows of garden blooms, before finally unfolding towards a dramatic double arch; a considered focal point that framed the ceremony with grandeur and editorial impact- perfectly suited to the venue.

Snapshots from yesterday ❤️ some of the photos and videos I remembered to take whilst we created a winter wonderland for Camilla and Josh at Bolton Anbey Priory followed by the Tithe Barn, with candlelight, velvet, mistletoe, Christmas trees, twinkly lights. For a venue I dress so frequently and know so well, it’s always exciting to do something different. I adored this transformation of the Tithe Barn! I think it lends itself perfectly to cosy festive weddings.

Staircase details from September ❤️ it is always a joy to be asked to flower at Middleton Lodge. The venue has so many beautiful spaces to choose from and the staircase has to be one of my favourite. Over the years I have gained a very attuned eye to what spaces will harmonise with my flowers and showcase them in their best light in the photographs- I just adore how the flowers sing in this space.

Details from Anna & Alastair’s dining room. Their intimate wedding so beautiful, deeply personal, cohesive and considered. From our very first meeting I knew we clicked and I loved their ideas and vision. It was so exciting to bring their ideas to life and honour their love story.
So when I looked through the gallery from I had a huge smile on my face - perfectly captured the day, the emotion and all the details ❤️

Hello from me! I’ve been meaning to post for weeks again but October has been one of those months. A huge month for me personally, with mine and my daughter’s birthday, carving lots of pumpkins with the children, we hosted a Halloween party for our neighbours and we bought a bigger van as both mine and my husband’s businesses have outgrown the smaller one. Betwixt that I have been delivering this month’s beautiful weddings, which I will share more of in due course.
I am just coming up for air after October’s deep dive and about to get prepped for Christmas and what our wreath offerings will be this year. Watch this space!
