Windstruments was started in 1994 as a woodwind and brass instrument repair company. Since then we have expanded into one of the largest stockists of musical instruments in Yorkshire and also stock accessories, cases and gifts. Our on site repair workshop checks and sets up every instrument we sell and handles routine maintenance, restoration and customisation of instruments, whether we have sold
that instrument or not. A full warranty is available for every instrument we service and sell. Private testing rooms are available to try out instruments as we believe that you need to try out each instrument to be able to select the right one for you. Unlike many websites, if you see an instrument listed on our website, we will definitely have at least one, if not a selection in stock to choose from, as we only advertise what we currently have in stock. You will always receive a warm welcome from specialist staff who appreciate how important it is for you to get the correct instrument for you and believe in selecting instruments in person rather than buying without trying. You are able to book the exam room in the weeks preceding the exams if you wish to have a run through to help make the exam less stressful. If you can't find an accompanist, call us and we will almost certainly be able to help. During the school holidays, we run four summer schools for woodwind instrumentalists from ages 8 to 80: Clarinet Summer School, Sax Summer School, Flute Kitchen and Woodwind Cafe.
