An excellent rock crystal flask with silver gilt mounts and chain from the 16th century.

Each side of the rock crystal is reverse painted, with one side showcasing a scene of Christ praying in the Garden of Gethsemane and the other side with Christ carrying the cross.

Second half of the 16th century, traces remaining of the original cold-painted gilt and enamel decoration.

Our 17th century silver and parcel gilt ‘ladies’ size’ tankard by Christoph Leipzig.

The maker created this in the auricular style typical of this period with pretty shell (a symbol of purification) decoration around the body. Marked 1664 to 1669.

A rare silver altar bottle for holy oil which stands at 5 ½ inches tall.

The silver bottle has interlocking decoration and two biblical scenes engraved on the sides of the bottle, Spanish circa 1620.

A devotional pendant rock crystal mounted with gold and decorated with enamels; Italian or Spanish, from the mid 17th century.

Under the rock crystal there are paintings: on the one side, St Catherine with her wheel, and on the other, a knight on horseback; the width of the pendant is 4.4 cms, 5 cms tall including the chain, and 1.6 cms deep.

An extremely rare Venetian glass footed tazza with a domed cover from the second half of the 17th century.

The tazza is made with cristallo glass decorated with blue intertwined trailing around the top of the cover and underneath the bowl of the cup.
