We will be closing at 1pm today. The shop has just hit 34ºC with the outside temperature is 32ºC. We are heavily stocked with maggots for customer orders at the weekend and need to keep the little devil's from escaping.

You have one hour left to come and grab your bait then I am off to George to enjoy their air conditioning.

By the way, if anyone has recommendations for air conditioning units, drop us a message. We will be investing in aircon for 2027 as we are getting busier each year.

After wrestling with the maggots this evening, we will be definitely closing tomorrow at 1pm. Huge thank you to every customer who has come in for live bait today. We have been inundated with customers but the constant opening and closing the door on the fridge means they are a bit livelier than we would like. In fact we can only describe them as phenomenally lively!

So we are closing at 1pm to give the fridge a fighting chance of keeping them cold in the predicted 34ºC heat. If the outside temperature is 34 it means the inside will be significantly warmer.

Our next purchase is definitely AC. Give us your recommendations.
