Good morning.

May I start by saying a massive heartfelt thank you to everyone who has left a comment, a message or has visited the shop since my announcement. I have been totally overwhelmed and taken a back by everyone of your beautiful messages and well wishes. ❤️
I have read everyone and appreciate them all immensely, just finding any words to reply to them all is hard, and I'm usually not lost for words. 🙏

Today..

Intention is to thin out some stock that I won't have space to keep.

So.

All 12" singles in the main large room in boxes on the floor.. Soul, house / dance and along the back wall - mixed genres £1.00 each.

Anything in the main large room in the racks, or window boxes and on the floor - individual artists section, 60s 70s 80s prog, rock, folk, blues ect etc. 50% off your final total.

All cassette tapes £ 1.00 each.

Tatty box 1& 2 50% off

Tatty singles box 1&2 50% off

5 sections of £1 singles.

All wall display albums, section near the counter and box sets are not in the clearance unfortunately.

We have a small shop as you know, and depending on how busy it gets, we have to limit 15 people in at one time for safety reasons.
Should you arrive and it is full, please have patience if asked to wait while others leave.

Good morning.

As some of you will already be aware and it's with great sadness that I have to announce I have taken the difficult decision to close the shop on a permanent basis as of this Saturday the 10th January due to family and personal reasons.
Sadly I cannot commit 100% to a shop environment anymore and have found this difficult for some time. Life and situations change unfortunately and you have to go with them.
I have tried to catch up with as many of you as I could over the past few weeks to give you the news and thank you on a personal basis, but obviously it has not been possible to see you all.
I have to get the shop empty and ready for any possible new tenants moving in, so all has moved pretty swiftly.

But this isn't an end, more a pause. After a short break in order to attend to all that I need to, I will be taking things online along with fresh ideas and some exciting plans moving forward into 2026 that I will be announcing around spring time ( that isn't as far away as you think) and some are on the cusp of being finalised already.
So keep connected to this page as I will update when I can, and there will be listing's continuing to keep the appetite wetted.

I don't want to get a thank you message lost within this announcement, I feel that isn't fair and deserves a separate post which I will do after close or more likely on Sunday, when emotions have calmed a little.

I will put a post up tomorrow with details of what's going to happen on Saturday. There will be a clearance on certain lines of stock, so keep an eye out for that. So if you could find time to pop by, even just to say hello and have a quick chat, that would be fantastic.

Good morning.

Not the biggest listing but it is still nevertheless full of beautiful things ( even if it is mainly old man's - dinosaur music: so some of the yung'uns that come into the shop tell me ) 🤨
Plus over 400 soul 7's ready for out : mainly reissues but also lots of originals: condition varies from Vg - Ex but all tested.. 🫩

Lots of beauties, still in fabulous nick and awaiting to be your soundtrack to Christmas while you munch on your sprouts and drip the gravy on your new jumper auntie has knitted you.!

As always, if there is anything you may like, give me a message. If you are wanting it sent out, not a problem but it won't be posted Friday 2nd January, so bear that I'm mind.

Good morning.

All cleaned, priced, sleeved and photographed ready for the morning.

It's the biggest single days listing ever with 142 items, and who knows, more may be added before we go live 😳 as we had a collection in yesterday. But it's that huge, that it will be a two part listing.

First part at the usual 9.30 slot, part two follows at 10.30.

If you see anything, please message or call to reserve - if it's still available I will pop it aside.

Comments under a picture may not be instantly seen, so please no aggro if you miss out on an item as I am attending an open shop as the posts go live.

Was hoping to get the listing out this Saturday, but a had another drop off - and more that I want to add to the list.

So it will be a bumper one, over 100 items, Lp's 12" and 7"s.

Good morning.

It's been a busy week with 2 collections in and just like the 'Good ole days' when ( The second collection pictured ) we had this kind of collection coming in just about weekly, and listing's a plenty went with it.

Well the collection pictured features Indie, Alt rock with a smattering of post punk, new wave from the early 80s to mid 90s.
Lots have already hit the racks, Lp's & 12s and the more 'interesting' items will form the next listing - Aiming the 8th Nov but will update.

Other collection was 70s 80s mix of rock , pop etc which has swelled the racks.
Along with the recents, new albums we have had in we are near to capacity 😳
